This 12-day programme, delivered over 8 months, is designed to provide promising executives and functional specialists with the skills, tools and competencies they require for effectively operating in today’s constantly changing and challenging business environment.

The York Strategic Management Programme has been designed for senior leaders with at least five or more year’s professional experience as a high level manager.
Past delegates include managing directors, regional managers and heads of divisions. It may also be appropriate for people moving from specialist functions into high level management roles.
The programme is also suitable for fast-track executives who have recently acquired a general management role, as the programme provides delegates with the core management skills and a strong understanding of the concepts of strategic leadership.
Delegates attending the course will have the option to complete the required assignments to gain an CMI accredited Level 7 Certificate in Leadership and Management.
Over 12 days, participants will be exposed to a variety of robust leadership frameworks, interactive case discussions and exercises that will enable them to understand the mindset of high performance leaders, and to tap into their own strengths to influence and lead with impact. They will explore different facets of leadership, such as inspiring and motivating teams, building commitment and managing resistance to change.
Previous course costs have been £4500 per delegate. Previously a separate fee of £650 has also been charged should you choose to complete the level 7 qualification.
