This programme enables experienced and middle managers to develop the critical business skills needed to achieve high performance in organisations, whilst gaining an CMI Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management.

Developing and Leading Teams
This module is an introduction to the programme and a session that will explore the core skills, attributes and behaviours of an effective team leader, and how to communicate effectively including appropriate use of language, neurological levels of communication and a range of tools and techniques for ensuring your message is clearly received and understood.
Practical Project Management Using Agile
This pragmatic and application focussed programme, designed for ‘real world projects’ will enable leaders and managers to apply a logical and effective methodology to how they work and approach projects. Agile management provides a logical, dynamic and simple way to lead people and projects. Originally developed by leading edge software companies, the Agile approach has been identified as the most effective method of leading people and projects in today’s complex and competitive environment (Stephen Denning – The Age of Agile).
Presentation Skills – The Power of You
This module focuses on finding the very best version of yourself when presenting and communicating by gaining practical tools from professional RADA trained actor-facilitators. Delegates will focus on finding the best version of themselves when presenting and will develop awareness of body language, vocal energy and mental script and learn experientially strong, practical alternatives.
A tutorial day providing an opportunity for group feedback and to go over the assessment will take place on the 8th of November 2019.
Developing Team Resilience
This interactive experiential model is designed for managers and team leaders. It will investigate the concept of resilience from the perspective of the team and how a leader can foster this, managing resilience of the team through change and creating the right environment for your team to be resilient. You will also receive some tools to enable you to build your and your team’s resilience.
This practical module will introduce the challenges associated with change, and evidence led insights into how individuals and teams can build resilience to cope with change successfully. The module will be equally valuable to individuals who have recently experienced change, and for change managers who intend to enhance their ability to lead others through change initiatives using principles from applied psychology.
This programme is for experienced, middle managers or individuals aspiring to these roles.
There are no formal entry requirements for the programme, but it is expected that participants have (or aspire to have) the opportunity to influence organisational strategies.
Through attending a structured short course programme over five individual days and completing two assignments, delegates will gain an a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 certificate in Leadership and Management.

The Developing Leaders Programme offers a strategic approach to gaining a CMI 5 qualification, ensuring the modules studied meet the specific needs of the individual and their company.
Delegates must complete all five modules within the programme to reach the necessary guided learning hours and achieve this accreditation.
You will be asked to complete 2 CMI assignments alongside the learning hours; each involves undertaking and reflecting on a series of leadership tasks in your organisation. You will be well supported throughout the process by your tutor, and you will have access to a huge range of on-line resources to assist you in your study.

The inclusive cost of the Developing Leaders Programme is £1475. This fee includes all five modules, CMI 5 qualification, access to resources, assessment, administration and tutor support.
As part of the programme, you will be registered to the CMI hub, giving you six months' student membership of CMI and access to a range of resources and services designed to support your learning and development, submission of all assessments and additional course learning materials.
Fees also include tutorial support – A tutorial session will run as part of each CMI 5 programme and must be completed to receive the CMI qualification.
