The University of York has a broad knowledge of the skills funding landscape, and often applies for funding to distribute to regional companies.
The training team will make you aware of any relevant funding and provide advice and guidance on the application and eligibility criteria.
Funding is often for small and medium enterprises (SMEs):
The Skills Service offers a unique package of training and support for SMEs in the Leeds City Region:
*SMEs in the Leeds City Region; participants must be in employment and aged 18+. Full eligibility on the Skills Service website. The Skills Service is managed by the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges and funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).
Our Management Development and Coaching and Mentoring programmes are included in the Skills Service catalogue; in addition to these, Skills Service support and funding are available for our bespoke courses.
Some programmes which offer accreditation can be included in funding applications. Delegates must complete the necessary guided learning hours.
Delegates will be asked to complete CMI assignments alongside their learning hours; each assignment involves undertaking and reflecting on a series of leadership tasks within their organisation. Learners will be supported throughout the process and will have access to a range of online resources.
As the preferred training partner of the York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, we are delighted to offer their members a ten per cent discount off their training (not available in conjunction with any other discount or funding).
Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
