Directions and Parking information for the Heslington East Campus - Ron Cooke Hub

Plan your journey

The Ron Cooke Hub is in the Heslington East area of the University of York campus.  Access to parking for the Heslington East campus is via Kimberlow Lane and Field Lane.  Please refer to:

From the A64 Westbound, please take the exit for the A1079, signed to the University and take the 4th exit of the roundabout. 

From the A64 Eastbound, exit at the junction for the A1079, signed to the University and take the first exit. 

You will then pass Field and Fawcett wine merchants on your left. 

Continue through the traffic lights on Hull Road and take the first exit left at the roundabout onto Field Lane. At the next roundabout, take the first exit. 

Once on campus, use the carpark on the left hand side. 

From York City Centre: 

Follow the A1079 out of York. 

You will come to a large roundabout with The BP space station on your left. The University is signed right at this roundabout, take the second exit onto Field Lane. Please refer to the directions above from Field Lane. 

Parking: 

Parking is in the Kimberlow Lane car park. Please note: the car park for the Catalyst Building (which can be accessed via Field Lane) is not for public use and cars parked here risk being clamped.

Please be advised that the pay & display machines do not accept notes or credit/debit cards, but do accept most forms of Sterling coinage (with the exception of 1p & 2p pieces). Payment can also be made by mobile phone - https://www.myringgo.co.uk/

The Ron Cooke Hub is the large building at the bottom of the hill, next to the lake.  Please report to reception and you will be directed to the correct room.
