Research topic: Motivations of transitory hybrid entrepreneurs to be full-time entrepreneurs in China

Profile

Presley completed her BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance at the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, and was awarded an MSc in Entrepreneurship, Finance and Innovation with Distinction from Loughborough University London. During her undergraduate studies, she won a Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence and a Bristol Futures Award.

Her MSc dissertation looked into and discussed what motivates employees to become Hybrid Entrepreneurs (HEs) in China. For her PhD, she is keen to further investigate the motivating factors of HEs transiting to full-time entrepreneurs, and how these factors influence their decision-making.
