Biography
Diansha Wang is Career Development Fellow at the School for Business and Society. Before joining York in September 2022, she received doctoral degree on Management Learning and Leadership from Lancaster University in May 2021.She holds an Msc in International Management and a BA (Hons) in Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham.
Her research interest lies in the areas of critical leadership studies, critical organization studies and the sociology of the professions.
Research
Overview
I am now working on several projects studying follower survival strategies, follower-leader distance, indirect leadership, follower/employee silence and employee struggles of (semi-)professional working life in finance industry. I am particularly interested in exploring these within virtual/ digitalized workplaces, temporary/non-standard work relations and non-western contexts.
