Applying

Notify the Biology Research Office at biol-researchoffice@york.ac.uk and the Research Focus Lead of the application at least four weeks prior to the deadline.
Complete a PhD Studentship Peer Review form (MS Word , 41kb) and send to the Biology Research Office. Submit the proposal for peer review.
Complete a Pre-award project authorisation form (MS Excel , 18kb) and send to the Biology Research Office along with a copy of the application for the Head of Department to sign off at least two weeks prior to the deadline.
You will be notified when the application has been approved and you can then submit.
Inform the Biology Research Support Office of the outcome of the application. We will then advise on post award administration.
