On Wednesday 25 April, Rosalind Latham accepted an award for the best undergraduate project from an Advanced Accredited degree programme, at a ceremony hosted by the Royal Society of Biology, at the Houses of Parliament in London.

As well as accepting the award, Roz spent the day contributing to the future of RSB accreditation at the "Striving for Excellence" conference held at County Hall in London.

Roz's award was for her final year project with Dr Michael Schultze which she presented with a poster entitled: Designing DNA tools for plants of the future: design and assembly of a multigene construct for CRISPR -Cas9 mediated gene targeting in rice.

Since graduating in 2017, Roz has been working for Mars Inc. in their Research & Development division.
