Biology receive record number of awards at this years NUS Green Impact event

The awards present the opportunity to showcase and celebrate the Departments sustainability efforts.

Congratulations to the 35 departmental teams across the University who took part in this year's Green Impact Programme. An Awards event on Monday 10 June showcased 10 bronze awards, 4 silver and 14 gold awards presented to winning teams by Acting Vice-Chancellor Saul Tendler. A number of Special Awards were presented, including the Sustainability Hero award for Jenny Purcell (Biology) and the Environmental Improvement award for the Genever Lab Group (Biology).
