Benefits of a standing workstation

A standing work station is one of a range of strategies (see ‘top tips for staying health at work’) that can be implemented to:

  • increase mobility
  • vary musculoskeletal postures
  • reduce the risk of poor heart health & diabetes  

However, it should be noted that prolonged standing can also be bad for our health! It can lead to:sore feet

  • poor circulation
  • swelling in the feet and lower limbs
  • leg fatigue
