How do we bring additional social and ethical considerations on harm when dealing with highly automated and autonomous systems?

Dr Zoë Porter will present 'A principled ethical assurance argument for the use of AI and autonomous systems'.

In traditional safety assurance, the majority of harms analysed against persons are physical harms. When dealing with highly automated and autonomous systems which will interact more broadly and ubiquitously with humans, how do we address other kinds of harm, as well as social and ethical considerations more broadly, in the assurance process?

This webinar is in partnership with Australia's Trusted Autonomous Systems Defence Cooperative Research Centre.
