Vinson Sound Archives Assistantship

This post entails assisting with the University of York Sound Archives.

You'll be required to work around nine hours per week during semester time.

Duties include handling and cataloguing fragile archival items and working with the School of Arts and Creative Technologies' CD and tape collections.

Eligibility

Open to EU, International (non-EU) and UK (home) students.

Open to students in the School of Arts and Creative Technologies.

This assistant must be organized and self-motivated, with database experience (preferably Microsoft Access) and a good attention to detail. Audio technology experience would be a useful advantage.
