15:30 - 17:00 - Black Box Theatre

In this session, Logan will run a workshop exploring the fundamental elements of drama, including character, action and structure. He will also discuss how to generate ideas and being a writer in the early stages of his career.

Logan's work has been seen at Bedford's Quarry Theatre, 53Two and the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester and York Theatre Royal, and has been longlisted for Broken Silence Theatre's Voices from Home festival. He recently completed an MA in scriptwriting at Manchester Metropolitan University under the tutelage of Alistair McDowall and Simon Stephens. He is the dramaturg for Ricochet Theatre, which is currently touring his play, The Same Rain That Falls on Me, as part of their double-bill of monologues, Elegies.

About Ricochet Theatre

Ricochet Theatre is a fledgling theatre company founded by recent York University theatre graduates with a shared passion for new works. They play with stories told in unique ways, drawing on the political and environmental situations our generation is facing today. They are a low budget but big imagination company scattered all over the country conducting rehearsals both remotely on zoom and in their living rooms in person. Ricochet Theatre is proudly supported by the York Performance Award.
