Event details

Platform presents Scratch: a work-in-progress event which celebrates creative projects being undertaken in the department and provides a platform for you to receive feedback during the development of your practical work. Maybe you’ve got an extract of a script you want to develop, or you’ve been experimenting with physical theatre and want to think about where to take it next, or you’re booked in to perform at a festival and want a welcoming environment to try out ideas, or perhaps you relish being an outside eye and giving feedback, if that’s the case then this event is for you! Scratch will provide the opportunity for students and staff to share their work-in-progress in a welcoming and positive environment. Don’t forget a responsive audience is a vital part of this event; if you’re not sharing work this time around come along to offer feedback on the work you see and be part of a buzzing artistic community.

To apply to share 10-15minutes of work please complete the Platform Scratch Pitch form by Wednesday 17th May (Week 5). Note, work presented at Platform Scratch can be work that you have previously developed on your degree but cannot be material that is in progress to be submitted for an assessment that has not yet taken place.
