Biography

Dr Peter Chowne is an archaeologist with over 40 years experience working in public and non-profit archaeological organisations, museums, universities and as a heritage tourism and museum management consultant.  He has designed and worked on archaeological, heritage management and museum projects in Europe, North Africa and West Asia. Peter is a Research Associate at the University of York and an independent archaeological researcher and heritage management consultant.

My research interests are mainly Neolithic and Bronze Age Lincolnshire, landscape archaeology, Bronze Age ceramics and metalwork, heritage tourism development and management.
