During her time at York, Rebecca has volunteered to gain insight into the world of commercial archaeology. She shadowed an industry expert at the Roman Bathhouse Museum between September and December 2019, providing tours of York's Roman history to global visitors. Further experience of the heritage sector included training in finance and public engagement. Secondly, she recently catalogued and produced a digital inventory of 40 Iron Age skeletons using a Microsoft Access database for York Osteoarchaeology.

In addition, Rebecca has engaged with the schemes run by the Careers service, including achieving a York Award and a York Leaders award. She has attended a series of events and worked with colleagues in the department to help publicise events that we have run.
