Star Carr will feature in a Time Team special on Thursday 30 May, 20.00, Channel 4, following filming last summer. The programme is about a Stone Age Tsunami in the Mesolithic, and Star Carr is used as a case study to explain what life must have been like in the Mesolithic before the tsunami.

In addition, an exhibition on Star Carr is opening in the Yorkshire Museum on Friday 24 May which showcases our own Heritage Studies student short films shot and edited over the past 4 weeks as part of the department's heritage field school. Also, a book on Star Carr has been published by the Council for British Archaeology (CBA). And the Archaeology Data Service (ADS) has just published a website about the Clark archive, which includes a database and photos of this amazing collection of artefacts.
