Following on from a successful run last year, the Department has launched and extended its short course offerings for professionals and community members seeking to develop key skills in heritage and conservation. These include training in stone masonery repair, energy efficiency for historic buildings, and social media application for both beginners and advanced users in the heritage sector.
Previous courses included digital survey and recording techniques; new options will be added to the available offerings in the future. Please keep your eyes peeled for these additions!
Courses are open to all, and can contribute to your professional CPD (continuing professional development) requirements. For more information see http://www.york.ac.uk/archaeology/short-courses/ or contact Sophie Norton at firstname.lastname@example.org.
