New funding comes to York for research on human-chicken interactions...

Nine Large Grants have been announced under the AHRC's Science in Culture, Digital Transformations and Translating Cultures themes. The successful grants are a collaboration across and beyond a number of arts and humanities disciplines and combining a number of UK and international institutions in addition to partner organisations from outside of the Higher Education sector. Department faculty members Oliver Craig, Matthew Collins and Terry O’Connor are Co-Investigators on the £1.94million project Cultural and Scientific Perceptions of Human-Chicken Interactions. The project involves the Universities of York, Durham, Nottingham, Leicester and Roehampton, and is led by Dr Mark Maltby at Bournemouth University.
