Jukka Jokilehto will be giving his inaugural lecture as Visiting Professor in the Department of Archaeology on 'The Nara Conference on Authenticity: Twenty Years After'. More details are available at http://engagingconservationyork.wordpress.com/

Professor Jokilehto is an alumnus of the University's conservation programme and Special Advisor to the Director General of ICCROM in Rome. His distinguished career at ICCROM, on the World Heritage Committee and the ICOMOS International Training Committee has engaged him in international missions on cultural heritage in many parts of the world. His lecture will be followed by a reception in the King's Manor Refectory.
