With Sue Hirst of Museum of London Archaeology, the department's Tania Dickinson has been awarded £5000 by the Marc Fitch Fund for their project The Archaeology of Bidford-on-Avon,  which will publish the rescue excavations carried out on site from 1971 to 1994. The grant will contribute towards work on the early Anglo-Saxon cemetery, the largest in the Avon valley.
