Timur Tatlioglu's PhD research on the Harewood estate landscape features in the AHRC report Leading the World – The Economic Impact of UK Arts and Humanities Research.Leading the World – The Economic Impact of UK Arts and Humanities Research. Tim has been focussing his research on biographies of people and place connected with the Harewood Estate, West Yorkshire. As an AHRC collaborative award holder, Tim works in partnership with the Harewood House Trust, and has contributed research, written an estate trail, given public lectures and conducted tours of the estate as part of the ‘Work & Play: life on the Yorkshire country house estate' exhibition at Harewood. Jon, Tim's supervisor, said 'Tim has, quite rightly, been held up as an exemplar of the collaborative awards scheme. His research has enriched the curators' understanding of the landscape at Harewood, just as his time at Harewood has enriched and enabled Tim's research'. Tim had previously featured in a longer article Showcase article in ISSUE 10 of Podium (Winter 2008-09).
