  • Current best practise and research on hot mixedand other traditional mortars
  • The differences between and different uses fordifferent limes available in the context of historic practice.
  • The mixing methods, preparation of substratesand aftercare of emplaced mortars, renders and plasters.

Course Leader: Nigel Copsey

Nigel Copsey began working with stone as a drystone waller in Cornwall, he later trained as a stonemason and carver at Weymouth College in Dorset, becoming established as a lettercutter and stonemason working mainly in the field of stone and building conservation.
