The Annual Student Archaeology Conference allows both undergraduate and postgraduate students of archaeology and related disciplines an unprecedented opportunity to share innovative research and views on the past.
The 1st ASA conference will be held at the University of York in The King's Manor, the medieval buildings of the Department of Archaeology in the heart of the city. The conference theme, "Developing Integrated Archaeology", is designed to encourage and inspire different ways of thinking about the past.
A full conference schedule will be available shortly when session titles have been confirmed.
The conference is being organised by a collaboration of groups including the University of York Archaeology Society, The Post Hole journal, and students from a number of universities across the UK.
Cost: £15 (accommodation included); £10 (accommodation not included) to cover
conference sessions, teas and coffees, York historical tour, and evening wine reception
