Web site last updated by Harold Mytum, 16th September 2004
This web site is to provide information for those considering attending the conference, and for those wishing to find out information whilst making arrangements for attending. It is on the University of York web site, as the conference is hosted by the Department of Archaeology at the University of York. It is managed by the Conference Chair, Harold Mytum, who is looking forward to meeting you at the event.
Sights to visit
York is itself one huge archaeological and historic site, so just walking around is an incredible experience. Nevertheless, there are some places which are clearly worth a special visit. Some of the web sites below provide much detailed historical and archaeological information, whilst others are designed for the general public. They will all help delegates to plan their time in York. Besides all the exciting papers and conference events, there is so much to see and do!
