Time Off for Trade Unions - Union Learning Representative Duties

For employees who are Union Learning Representatives, reasonable paid time off may occur for one or more of the functions of:

  • Analysing learning or training needs
  • Providing information and advice about learning or training matters
  • Arranging learning or training
  • Promoting the value of learning or training
  • Consulting the University of York about carrying out any such activities
  • Preparation to carry out any of the above activities
  • Undergoing relevant training for the role of Union Learning Representative
