An opportunity to get involved in mentoring
The mentoring scheme is open for applications.
The purpose of the scheme
To provide a mentoring provision throughout the University of York, where less experienced staff can be matched with more experienced staff and benefit from their knowledge and experiences, thereby maximising the potential of mentees within the university and utilising the skills, knowledge and experience of mentors.
Briefing sessions
To support the mentoring scheme we have two briefing sessions available. These will be held virtually:
- Monday 15 November 2021 from 14:00 to 15:00
- Wednesday 24 November 2021 from 11:00 to 12:00

Applying to be a mentor
If you are interested in becoming a mentor, complete the application form and People and Organisational Development will be touch.
Applications for being a mentor will remain open indefinitely.
Applying to be a mentee
If you are interested in becoming a mentee, complete the application form and People and Organisational Development will be touch
Mentee applications must be submitted by noon on Tuesday 7 December 2021.
