We will stop using candidate briefs for recruitment from 17 June

In February we announced our intention to stop using candidate briefs in recruitment. Our aim is to provide a better candidate experience while creating a more efficient process for departments and HR.

We are now able to announce that this change — which introduces shorter job templates and new departmental recruitment pages — will begin from Monday 17 June.

What do I need to do?

From that date please use the new job template and advert document when submitting a vacancy request form. These will be available in our job library from 17 June.

You will no longer need to include departmental information as applicants will be directed to your departmental page.

Creation of departmental web pages

Thanks to all the departmental contacts who are helping create their webpages. We will continue to support recruitments under the current process until the end of July to ensure that all departments have had the chance to review and sign off their departmental webpage.

In the long term, we will continue to offer candidate briefs as an option for professorial recruitment campaigns.
