Minimum increase of 2% for staff in grades 1—8
The national pay award, which will provide York employees with a salary uplift of the greater of 2% or £425, will be paid in September.
The pay award is effective from 1 August 2018. Back pay for August will be included in September pay packets.
The pay award provides for a increase of £425 for staff on points 2—15 of the national pay spine. At York, this means that most staff in grades 1, 2 and 3 will receive an increase of more than 2%.
