Alex Rollinger - Award Winner

Alex has been key to the success of two crucial external engagement activities for the Centre of Health Economics. This included the challenging organisation of a health economics workshop in Malawi, involving a range of research groups and collaboration with high level policymakers from across Government.

Natalie Wood - Award Winner

Working with a cheerful competence you don't often see when pressure is high due to staff shortages, Natalie stepped up to help the departments navigate the last financial year. Proving excellent customer service in difficult and demanding circumstances, Natalie continued the smooth delivery of financial information with no break in the level of service previously received.

Hub Café Team - Award Winner

The team cater for a vast amount of staff, students and visitors and are often required to meet last minute demands. Despite their limited resource, this never impacts the standard of service delivered. They are friendly, polite, supportive and above all professional and always take everything on board with 100% commitment.

Joanne Hardy - Award Winner

Aiming to inspire and motivate colleagues to talk more about Mental Health and debunk the associated stigmas, Jo fully embraced the project with an infectious level of engagement, enthusiasm and drive. In the past year alone, Jo has trained 40 members of staff in Mental Health First Aid, and 110 staff on the 3 hour ‘Lite' course.

Nik Haywood - Award Winner

Having been extremely busy over summer and terribly short staffed, Nik still managed to plan, prepare and deliver an excellent start to Freshers. Keen to enhance to student experience wherever possible, Nik embraced overseas, postgraduate and non-drinking students this year, with a range of innovative events he designed and tailored specifically to these groups.
