Programme aims and objectives
The overall aims of the programme are to enable participating leaders to:
- Create a culture of empowerment that maximizes effectiveness
- Articulate and deliver their vision with integrity and passion
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to fulfill the university vision of public good
Core principles
- Programme kicks off with two consecutive off site days to build relationships and community
- Essential pre-work will be mandatory
- 360 tool is an essential component part
- Blended delivery of digital and face to face (face to face duration - full days)
- Face to face focussed on skill and community development
- Mandatory face to face co-coaching sessions between each module
- Additional reading and developmental material will be highlighted to cohort delegates if they wish to enhance their learning further
- Some core skill development will be offered as optional standalone workshops, accessible to all managers as well as those part of the cohort approach. eg time management, performance management
- A digital learning platform will provide some management fundamental content previously incorporated in historical programmes
