Perrett Laver, our appointed executive search firm, have conducted a wide-ranging confidential consultation to inform the appointment of our next Vice-Chancellor.
This has generated extensive feedback from our staff, students, alumni, University Council and Court, Trade Unions, staff networks, and from our wider network of external stakeholders partners. Consultation was conducted through face to face individual meetings, group discussions, focus groups, telephone conversations and through email feedback. All of this has helped us to identify a clear set of attributes that we will be seeking in our next Vice-Chancellor, as well as providing a range of insights about the distinctiveness and priorities of our University.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this consultation process. We have taken into careful consideration all of the feedback and insights derived from our consultation and that has led us to develop our recruitment information and define the characteristics required in our new Vice-Chancellor - please feel free to share with your networks. The advertisement will be live on a number of education recruitment websites from Friday 14 December until the 23 January 2019. The selection process is anticipated to take place in March 2019.
