Online MPA: April 2012
Campus MPA: October 2012
The MPA has been developed in collaboration with the following partners.
The Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) is a global partnership of 17 leading research-led institutions in Europe, the US, China and Australia. The WUN network provides opportunites for academics to work at an international level with key strategic partners, whose professional standing in research and teaching is globally recognised.
A number of the modules on the MPA programme have been co-authored by WUN members, who continue to contribute to the development of academic material. This gives the York programmes a uniquely international perspective.
Further information on the work of the WUN can be found on their website at: http://www.wun.ac.uk/
The University of York has been awarded ten Commonwealth Scholarships by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom (CSCUK) for students joining either the online Masters in Public Policy and Management or the online Masters of Public Administration, commencing their studies in September 2009. You can find out more information about the scholarships here. Deadline for scholarship applications: 31st May 2009.
The BBC has been a world leader in programme production since it was first formed as a company in 1922 - five years before it received its first Royal Charter and became the British Broadcasting Corporation. It has pioneered communications in radio, television and online technologies.
The materials developed for the online MPA contains video and audio material drawn from the BBC's archives. This partnership has provided unique access to radio and TV extracts that support study online and underpin the learning process.
