Web Committee

With membership comprised a range of senior stakeholders from across the University, Web Committee is responsible for the strategic direction of the University's web presence.

Recent issues discussed by Web Committee include:

  • Investigation of possible applications of Second Life to University activities.
  • The initiation of the Web Redevelopment Project, which has so far led to the rollout of a standard University template for web pages and will soon be implementing a Web Content Management System and then a portal.
  • Creation of a working group to look into the use of Podcasting to promote University activities.
