Start of Year Service

Wednesday 19th October 2010 - More House Chapel

An Ecumenical service led by the University Chaplains to mark the start of the new Academic Year. The service will be followed by a simple bread and soup lunch. .

All Saints Day/All Souls Day

2nd November 2010, 7.30pm, York Minster

A joint Ecumenical service by candlelight in the crypt of York Minster held together with the other higher education institutions in York. This service of celebration and remembering of those who have gone before us into God's presence has become one of the highlights of the Christian Year in York. The preacher this year will be Revd. Lukas Njenga, newly appointed chaplain to York Saint John University
