About Us
The IT Academy is part of the University of York and we are an accredited Microsoft IT Academy which allows us to offer the full Microsoft Official Curriculum, including Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010, Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 client training.
We train staff and students here at the University and attract learners from businesses throughout Yorkshire.
Our aim is to deliver high quality ICT training for University staff and local companies within the Yorkshire region.
Courses are held mainly at the Science Park at the University of York in our new CPD Training suite, and we can also train at your office and at other locations within North Yorkshire.
We strongly believe in relationships and we actively network within the region. Over the years we have forged strong, efficient and effective relationships with many businesses.
We also organise events and presentations throughout the year.
Andrew Bettany organises and hosts the Yorkshire IT User Group which attracts IT related businesses and suport staff from SMEs across the region. View the events page on this site to see when the next one is, and register.
