Heslington Studios
All our state-of-the-art facilities are available for commercial hire most days of the year. There's parking for several vehicles next to the building; and there are catering facilities close by. All the spaces are connected by tie-lines, so it's possible to feed sound and vision from any area to any other. Heslington Studios has its own website here...
TV studios
A small studio (32' by 25') and a large studio (50' by 40').
Black Box
A large, multi-purpose, double-height space that can be used for large shoots, events or performances.
200-seat theatre
A very well-equipped state-of-the-art theatre, with superb lighting and sound facilities.
Rehearsal rooms
Large and small rooms suitable for photographic shoots, small single camera shoots or small events; green screen backing/audience seating on request.
Picture finishing
Picture finishing suites with Smoke, Flame, Lustre and Nucoda Film Master. Available for dry hire, or with operator.
Audio finishing
Two dubbing theatres, two mixing rooms with a large live room for recording, and a Foley and ADR area. Available for dry hire, or with operator.
Digital cinema
150-seat luxurious, state-of-the-art cinema, with a 4K projector and full surround sound. Suitable for launches, press previews etc.
Render Farm
Our post production labs can be reconfigured as a render farm to enable fast distributed rendering of animations.
