Careers staff will help you make the most of your time at York to fulfil your aspirations
We are committed to supporting students’ professional success after they graduate.
As well as continued access to the Careers Service, once you graduate the University also provides alumni with a range of professional networking opportunities throughout the year, at events and online. Alumni who benefit from this engagement are often enthusiastic to support current students, offering advice and opportunities to promote the success of York graduates.
We are grateful to the significant number of alumni who contribute to the University after their graduation, by volunteering, providing advice and advocacy, and taking an active role in facilitating the York Alumni Association networks.
Studying at York is the beginning of a lifelong relationship with one of the world’s leading universities.
After graduation, you will be welcomed into a worldwide network of more than 80,000 York alumni across 16 countries.
The York Alumni Association exists to facilitate ongoing relationships between the University, our alumni and current students.
As an alumnus, you will have access to a growing portfolio of services including discounts, invitations to high profile social events and reunions, local alumni groups, an email account for life, an alumni magazine (Grapevine) and access to our new online community, YorkSpace.
