University Open Day

The University of York Open Days for 2012 entry are being held on Wednesday 6 July and Saturday 1 October 2011. You'll need to book a place on the Open Day, otherwise you will not receive the programme and other important information you need prior to the day.

  • Saturday 1 October - online booking commences in July and closes approximately two weeks before the event.

Details on how to book are available from the University Undergraduate Admissions Office. Open day programmes run from 9.30am to 4pm.

What is a University open day?

Open Days can help you decide whether to apply and what degree would best suit you. Staff and students will be on hand to offer information and answer questions about admissions, degree programmes and student life.

There will be information about Social Policy, Applied Social Science, and Social Work, applying to university in general, and the University of York's campus and community.

You will be able to look around the campus at leisure and look at student residences. Teachers, advisers and family members are very welcome to come along. We look forward to meeting you.
