Open Day 2011

We are organising an Open Day for prospective graduate students who would like to learn more about our Masters and PhD programmes.
This is run in conjunction with the University Post Graduate Open Day which takes place in the morning. Information on this is online at http://www.york.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/open-days/
If you are applying for funding we hope to have up to date information from ESRC about what is available for October 2012 entry.
The department visit will involve short talks about graduate study in Sociology and the opportunity to discuss your interests and have your questions answered by academic supervisors and staff.

Schedule
- 1.30pm - Arrive in Wentworth College
- Introductory talk by Dr Nick Gane, (Director of Graduate Studies)
- Student Life. Short talk and Q & A session by 2 current graduate or recently graduated students.
- Meet academic supervisors and/or Course Coordinators
- Final plenary session with Dr Nick Gane
- 3.30pm - End of Open Day
