About SocSoc

The University of York Sociology Society (SocSoc) is a network of all the staff and current students as well as former and prospective students. In conjunction with the developing in-house Sociology Society, the facebook SocSoc is both an academic and social base for all. 

The group holds regular socials for staff and students, guest lectures (with past guests including the textbook legend Giddens), and also have a welfare team to provide support.
