Biography

Richard joined SEI in June 2006 and works in the York-based publication team. He does layout for SEI publications, and also does language editing, web design, and training.

Richard works on the production of the climate and development magazine Tiempo and is helping to co-ordinate the introduction of regional editions in the developing world. He is a member of the Tiempo Advisory Group.

Career

Richard has a BEd (Physics/Education) and a MA (Education) from the University of Leeds.

Richard was Head of Science at Lawnswood School, Leeds, where he taught physics, science, and general studies to pre-university level. He was also Chair of Governors of Weetwood Primary School, Leeds. He retired from teaching in 2006.
