György Kovács is part of Judit Sandor's teamGyörgy is working as an attorney at law, dealing with corporate M&A, IP/IT, Energy and Real Estate related matters. He is also regularly lecturing at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Deák Ferenc Post-Graduate Institute in the field of EU IP law and EU law; He joined the CELAB REMEDiE research team recently. He was a Fulbright Scholar in the Boston University School of Law in the academic year 2005/06, where he was taking courses and was doing research in the fields of general business law and patent law. Christian Haddad is part of Herbert Gottweis's teamChristian Haddad was born in Vienna, Austria in 1984. He is a research associate at the Life-Science-Governance research platform and a lecturer in Political Science at the University of Vienna, Austria. In the REMEDiE context he works on the regulation and governance of clinical trials and translational research of stem cell therapies. His research interests include the governance of (bio-) science, human subject research, and contemporary forms of Bio-Power. |

David Rodríguez-Arias, PhDAfter obtaining his Philosophy Degree at the University of Salamanca, in Spain, David Rodríguez-Arias spent four years in France, at l’Université de Paris Descartes, where he completed a Masters Degree in Biomedical Ethics and began his PhD. His Masters thesis' topic was on advance care planning. In 2006 he became Assistant Professor at the University of Salamanca where he finished his PhD in 2008 on brain death and organ transplantation. He has been awarded the 2009 Bioethics Research award by the Fundació Victor Grifols i Lucas, (Barcelona, Spain) for his doctoral dissertation: “Brain Death and Organ Transplantation: International and Ethical Aspects”. In 2010, Dr David Rodriguez-Arias worked at the University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics and at University Health Network as a bioethics fellow specialized in transplantation ethics.
