Biology Technology Facility
With over £6.6 million of capital equipment, 2000 m2 of purpose-built laboratories and 19 expert staff, this purpose built centre of excellence provides access to state-of-the-art bioscience technologies for external academic laboratories and commercial business users.

The Technology Facility offers an efficient and cost effective way to undertake analytical work with the majority of instruments available for external use following an initial training period. If required, the facility's expert team will undertake the work for you. Such work could include:

Advice and training options
The depth of expertise that exists within the Technology Facility is its greatest asset. Each of the six units is headed by an experienced technologist who can save you time and money by assisting with project development plans. Training is also offered for various techniques, including courses tailored to your specific requirements.
