Suvi Keskinen is concluding her dissertation on discursive practices in professional work with domestic violence. The dissertation was conducted as part of the research project "The Violence of Sex: Meanings, Emotions, Practices and Policies of Sexualized Violence" funded by the Academy of Finland (2000-2003). Her research interests are sexualized violence, gender and professional knowledge. She has published an article in Healing Plots. The Narrative Basis of Psychotherapy (2004) ed. by A. Lieblich, D. McAdams and R. Josselson. She is also a co-editor of a forthcoming book Tackling Men's Violence in Families by Policy Press, Bristol.
