Rebecca Krebs
Rebecca Krebs completed her school education in
Belgium, attaining a European Baccalaureate at the European School/Mol. She
then attended the Leibniz-Kolleg in Tübingen (Germany), and subsequently
enrolled in a course on History of Art at the Carl-von-Ossietzky-University
Oldenburg (Germany), her minor subjects being German and Dutch Studies. She
was awarded a scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to
the University of Bologna, where she pursued her interest in the History of
Art studying ‘DAMS’, an interdisciplinary course in visual arts, music and
theatre. In 2004 Rebecca Krebs attained her Master-degree with a thesis on
the concept of memory in the works of the French contemporary artist Sophie
Calle.
