Jasmina Lukić
Professor Jasmina Lukić
is Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Gender Studies at
Central European University (CEU) Budapest and has been associated with that
Department since its foundation in 1995, teaching courses in
literature, literary theory and cultural studies, supervising a number of MA
and M.Phil students. Professor Lukic has very strong ties with the regional
gender studies scholarly network and was co-founder of both the Women’s
Studies Centre in Belgrade and the Women’s Studies Centre in Azgreb, where she
regularly attends to give lectures and short courses.
Publishing widely in the
field of Gender Studies and Slavic Studies, Professor Lukić’s most recent
publications include the monograph Metafiction – Reading the Genre (Metaproza
– Čitanje Žanra, Belgrade, 2001) and an edited collection of essays in South
Slavic feminist criticism ‘Women’s writing and écriture féminine in
the 1990s’, published as the focus of the issue in Sarajevske sveske
(‘Žensko pisanje I žensko pismo u devedesetim godinama, Sarajevske sveske
2/2003, Sarajevo). She also guest-edited a special issue on identities for
The European Journal of Women’s Studies in November 2003.
