Group Meeting Information

Group meetings will take place on Tuesdays at 5:30pm in the group’s office and will run at this time every week. They will rotate between the following activities.

Mechanistic and synthetic problems: These should be communicated to the group by the person responsible by 9:30am the day before the meeting.

The synthesis challenge: A challenge will be issued at the end of the group meeting the week before. Groups must come up with a realistic proposal for the synthesis of the given molecule. Each group will then have 30 mins to present their route and answer questions on it.

Literature: A total synthesis paper will be presented to the group by each individual and they will be expected to answer questions on it.

Research Talk: Present a 30 min chalk-‘n’-talk update on your research to the group.
