• capturing and modelling information used by clinicians when making judgements and clinical decisions
• developing interventions to improve decision making and judgement in practice
  
• examining the ways in which clinicians and technology interact
• tailoring and evaluating educational interventions in the area of clinical decision making and evidence based practice
