Detecting breast cancer: how do experts spot problems so quickly?

New research by Dr Karla Evans and colleagues investigates visual processes involved in evaluating mammograms.

‌‌New research by Dr Karla Evans, working with colleagues at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and the University of Leeds shows that radiologists can discriminate between normal and abnormal mammograms in half a second."
